Sip, Stir & Celebrate: Luxury Fusion Recipes for the Festive Season
Festive celebrations have a way of bringing familiar things to the table in new ways. Traditional sweets get modern presentations, classic recipes find new flavors, and even a simple cup of tea can become part of the occasion.
This festive season, let your drinks join the celebration.
With fragrant tea, warming spices, fruit and a few simple finishing touches, you can turn an everyday brew into something that feels luxurious without being complicated. These festive tea recipes are designed for slow conversations, beautifully set tables and those little moments between one celebration and the next.
Orange Cardamom Black Tea Cooler
Citrus and cardamom are a natural match for the richness of black tea. The result is refreshing, aromatic and bright enough to complement festive food.
Ingredients
* 2 Old Harbor Orange Black Tea Bags
* 1 cup hot water
* ½ cup fresh orange juice
* 1 tsp honey
* 1 lightly crushed cardamom pod
* 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
* Ice
* Orange slices for garnish
Method
Steep the Orange Black Tea Bags in hot water for 3–4 minutes. Remove the tea bags and add honey and cardamom while the tea is warm.
Allow it to cool completely, then stir in fresh orange juice and lemon juice. Pour over ice and garnish with a thin orange slice and a small cardamom pod.
It is bright, aromatic and refreshing — a beautiful alternative to a traditional iced tea.
Strawberry Rose Tea Sparkler
For a drink that feels almost dessert-like, combine the fruity character of strawberry tea with rose and a little fizz.
Ingredients
* 2 Old Harbor Strawberry Black Tea Bags
* 1 cup hot water
* ½ cup strawberry juice or strawberry purée
* ½ tsp rose water
* 1 tsp honey
* ½ tsp fresh lemon juice
* Chilled sparkling water
* Ice
* Fresh strawberry and rose petals for garnish
Method
Steep the Strawberry Black Tea Bags for 3–4 minutes. Remove the bags and stir in honey while warm.
Once cooled, add strawberry juice, rose water and lemon juice. Fill a glass with ice, pour in the tea mixture and top with chilled sparkling water.
Garnish with a strawberry and a few rose petals.
The combination feels festive without being overly sweet, making it an easy tea party drink for afternoon celebrations or evening gatherings.
Ginger Jaggery Chai
Not every festive drink needs to be chilled. Some are meant to be warm, comforting and served slowly.
This version brings together bold chai, ginger and jaggery for a richer take on the familiar Indian cup.
Ingredients
* 2 Old Harbor Masala Tea Bags
* ¾ cup water
* ½ cup milk
* 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
* 1–2 tsp jaggery
* 1 lightly crushed cardamom pod
* A pinch of cinnamon
Method
Simmer the water with ginger, cardamom and cinnamon for 2–3 minutes. Add the milk and bring it to a gentle simmer.
Turn off the heat, add the Masala Tea Bags and cover for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags and spices, then stir in jaggery while warm.
Serve hot in small cups and finish with a light sprinkle of cinnamon.
