Homemade Pumpkin Chai Tea Recipe
It's the pumpkin season and fall is incomplete without some Homemade Pumpkin Spice chai tea for those cozy chilly days.
Sharing with you a very simple yet delicious recipe that you must try out this fall season.
This recipe will make 2 cups of Pumpkin Chai Tea.
You will require the following ingredients:
- 2 cups of Milk (Can use vegan milk options too)
- 2 Old Harbor English Breakfast Tea Bags
- 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
- Vanilla extract
- 1 tsp Pumpkin Spice Mix
- 2 tbsp Pumpkin Puree
- cinnamon or nutmeg powder (optional)
On low heat, boil 2 cups of milk in a saucepan. Add the tea bags,brown sugar, pumpkin puree & pumpkin spice mix & let it simmer.
If you want the Pumpkin Spice chai tea to be stronger then we recommend adding one more tea bag to this mix.
Bring this mix to a boil. Recommended brewing time is 5-6 minutes.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and remove the teabags as well.
Now add the vanilla extract to this mix and stir well.
To make it frothy, use an electric frother or a hand mixture. This step is optional.
Now pour it into the cups of your choice, garnish with some cinnamon or nutmeg powder and enjoy!
